To place a bid, please create an account and sign in to my website. Once signed in, you can choose either a Direct Bid or an Automatic Bid using the bidding section above. After placing your bid, you’ll receive a confirmation by email, as well as an email notification if another collector outbids you.

Can I bid if I don’t intend to purchase?
No. Please only place a bid if you are prepared to purchase the painting. By bidding, you are committing to complete the purchase if you are the winning bidder. Please refer to our Terms of Service for further details.

Can I retract a bid?
Bids should only be retracted in exceptional circumstances, such as entering the wrong amount by mistake. For example, if you meant to bid $100.00 but accidentally bid $10,000, you can retract the bid. If this happens, please contact info@hamletshougrakpamart.com as soon as possible. Bid retractions must never be used to influence or manipulate the auction.

Will my name and bid amount remain private?
Yes. Your identity will not be displayed publicly during the auction. Bidder information will only be accessible to Hamlet Shougrakpam and his team for the purpose of managing the auction and completing the sale.

Why was I immediately outbid?
Another bidder may have already placed an Automatic Bid with a maximum amount higher than yours. The system can therefore place another bid on their behalf automatically. To become the highest bidder, you’ll need to place a higher bid or increase your Automatic Bid maximum.

How does Automatic Bidding work?
Automatic Bidding allows you to enter the highest amount you’re comfortable paying. The system then bids on your behalf only when necessary, increasing your bid in the required increments up to your chosen maximum.

To use it, enter your maximum amount and select Automatic Bid in the auction bidding section.

Worldwide shipping is complimentary for all original paintings purchased at auction. Each artwork will be carefully prepared, securely packaged and shipped rolled for safe delivery. Tracking information will be provided by email once your painting is on its way.
